Late Snow

Winter will never leave! We had eight more inches of snow last night. No school for the kids ("yeah"). Kenna and I awoke this morning and we both HAD to go outside. Albeit for diferent reasons. Hers to play, mine to snowblow. But we got it done. But as we were playing around we realized how pretty the trees looked with the sunloight glistening off of them.

16 Days Till Winter

Well we have 16 days until winter and already we're under 50+ inches of snow! We're ona record setting pace already. Temps have been in the 20's and windy, so it's been pretty much miserable.

Kenna and her father made a gingerbread house. Well, Terry made it and Kenna ate frosting and candies. But it turned out pretty well.

So enjoy the photos till next time.

Kenna's Pre-K Graduation

Well here was another school year come and gone. Kenna graduated from St. Mary's Pre-K class on May 29, 2008. She was given the "Best Friend" award It was nice to hear she was so personable to everyone. Next year will be a shock as she will attend school ALL DAY and Monday to Friday, versus Tuesday - Friday 1150 - 250 this year. But she'll survive, and it'll be a nice break for her parents too! LOL.

Michigan Rites of Spring

Ah yes, Spring time is here. Birds are chirping, the sun is shining and the snow angels are in full bloom. Yes, we still have about 2-4 inches of snow on the ground. Hopefully it will be melted by June first.

So the Michigan rites of passage are in full bloom- Tigers games, spring cleaning and Thawing of the Cans (see pic).

The neighbors are all in spring garb and enjoying the day. Then comes out Kenna, see the next pic and know she'll never catch a cold!

Kawanis Award

Young Americans

This March the Young Americans came to Gaylord St. Mary's to give a concert. The students of St Marys were able to participate in the concert, and did GREAT! The Young Americans are a touring group of singing and dancing teens. It's quite a big deal. Kenna was able to sing with them and was so excited. Of course, after they left the next day she was devastated as her singing buddy, Kate, was gone. But here are the photos.
